ONE FREEPASS FOR YOUR NEWS

Enough with a new account
for every newspaper.

FreePass.news is building one shared reader identity: create your FreePass once, then use it with participating news publishers. Start by choosing your region and requesting the publishers you want to join FreePass.

THE PROBLEM

A new form for every publisher

Name, email, password, preferences: the same registration friction repeats from site to site.

THE FREEPASS IDEA

One shared reader identity

Create FreePass once. Participating publishers keep their subscriptions, access rules and direct relationship with you.

Tell us which publishers you want

Choose your region and language, then request your news publishers. Verified requests become evidence of demand we can bring to them.

Missing a publisher?

Suggest it to FreePass

A suggestion does not imply a partnership. It helps build the catalogue of requested publishers.

FOR PUBLISHERS

Readers are asking for a simpler way to reach you

Reduce repeated registration friction without giving up the publisher relationship

FreePass aims to provide one reader identity across participating publishers. Publishers keep their subscriptions, access rules and first-party relationship; reader requests become aggregated demand before a pilot.

PERMISSIONS

What FreePass may share

FreePass uses a different pseudonymous identifier for every publisher. Your internal identity is never transmitted as a universal cross-site identifier.

Demand integrity.

FreePass records limited antifraud signals when a publisher is requested. Full IP addresses are encrypted, never shown publicly, and retained only under the abuse policy. A request becomes email-verified only after mailbox confirmation.
