What FreePass is
FreePass.news is building a common reader identity, consent and demand layer for participating news publishers. It does not replace a publisher, its subscription, paywall, content or direct customer relationship.
FreePass.news
One FreePass for your newspapers — without taking the reader relationship away from publishers.
FreePass.news is building a common reader identity, consent and demand layer for participating news publishers. It does not replace a publisher, its subscription, paywall, content or direct customer relationship.
The launch strategy is Audience First → Demand Proof → Publisher Pull: readers first say which publishers they want, FreePass qualifies that demand, and only then approaches publishers with evidence rather than a speculative integration pitch.
Readers can request publishers before creating an account, then create one FreePass to keep and manage those requests. Verified demand is distinguished from anonymous demand and suspicious activity can be held out of public counts.
Publishers keep their subscriptions, pricing, entitlements, content, CRM and direct reader relationship. FreePass is intended to provide infrastructure and aggregated demand evidence, not ownership of a publisher’s audience.
A public publisher page does not mean the publisher is a partner. Statuses must remain factual: requested, contact initiated, in discussion only with permission, pilot, or available.
When a publisher expressly accepts a FreePass offer or pilot, FreePass may identify that participation publicly and display professional contact details, website links or other business coordinates that the publisher has expressly supplied or approved as verifiable proof. Private or personal representative details are not published automatically.
FreePass does not use the sale of individual reader profiles as its launch business model. Pairwise publisher identifiers, data minimisation and aggregated reporting are intended to reduce cross-publisher tracking risk.
